Is it really December?!?!?!

To begin the month, we hosted a wine tasting party with our trivia group/my co-teachers.  It was our first party post-baby!

It has been very mild here considering it is December!  We decided to take advantage of the warm weather and spent the evening strolling around Peddler's Village.  If you have visited us, you know what it is.....I think we have taken every guest there at some point!

I love all the new baby milestones and this one cracked us up.  Alex seemed to love it....too bad we are not quick enough for him (his sour face is due to the fact that he wanted more.....now)!

November Happenings!

November seemed to come and go so quickly.  Here are a few random happenings:

Alex's first UNC game with Jimmy....okay, Alex was asleep before tipoff, but he was a cute fan!

Beautiful Saturday morning.....just relaxing.

Mike and Michaela stopped by while on the East Coast visiting family.  Their little one is due to arrive in March!

The weather was so warm this weekend that we decided to take advantage of it.....we went on a walk!

Happy Birthday, Jamie!

Jimmy's First Time Away

Jimmy had to travel this week so Alex and I entertained ourselves by taking pictures to show him when he returned.  Here are some of my favorites.

A Second Date....

Alex and I met up with Christine and her sweet little one, Kimberly.  This was their second official date...meaning a gathering in which they had a photo shoot together.

Three New Things.....

 Alex has been busy this past week with three big new things.  First, he gave his first all out giggle!  We were lucky in that both Jimmy and I were present for the chuckle!

Secondly, we attended Caleb's first birthday party.  He is a sweetheart and we look forward to the boys being friends.  As we were leaving they had to have a quick chat!

Lastly, Alex has teeth coming in! Anything and everything goes in his mouth and you can see the progression of the giraffe making his way to Alex's mouth.

Snow in October?

Our first snow arrived a little early this year.  On Saturday, we got about 6-7 inches of snow.  Most of the trees still have leaves on them which led to many broken limbs.  Jimmy figured this was the new way to dispose of leaves.  Needless to say, Alex experienced his first snowstorm while warm inside the house.
